UTVC is a registered public institution managed by a competent Board of Governors and enjoys cordial relationship with regulatory bodies such as Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA),Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI),) Curriculum Development Accreditation and Certification Council (CDACC), Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS), Higher Education Loans Boards(HELB), Kenya National examination Council(KNEC) among other stakeholders in the industry.

History and Facts

UTVC was established in 2017 and officially opened its door for admission in September 2018.
Since then, the institution has had a burgeoning enrolment from 100 students in 2018 to over 800 by January 2022.

As a new entrant in the Technical Education and Training industry, Ugenya Technical & Vocational College is committed to providing affordable, accessible, sustainable and quality education that is market driven and in line with the Vision 2030 and its interlinked -the Big 4 Agenda, the Blue Economy and the Sustainable Development Global Goals.
This is true, as we boast of up-to-date infrastructure for our flagship courses which are- General Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering. Besides, the College offers a wide range of Engineering, Business and Liberal courses at Artisan, Certificate and Diploma levels.
